Thanet Offshore Windfarm
Experience Thanet Offshore Windfarm on an exhilarating rib ride, travelling 7 miles off the coast of Thanet. This was one of the first offshore windfarms to be developed. Officially opened in 2010, it was the biggest offshore wind farm in the world, but has since been overtaken by many others in size. Join us on River Runner IV and enjoy adrenaline filled blast of the coastline for this 1 hour 45 minute trip. This experience is only suitable for age 5+.
Please be aware of the following for all RIB experiences:
All rib experiences are weather dependent due to being on the open water, therefore, for the safety for our passengers, trips may be cancelled at short notice. Any trips cancelled due to weather will be rescheduled or refunded.
We do require a minimum number of 8 passengers to operate. Sadly if numbers aren’t reached the trips cannot go ahead.

The Goodwin Sands
Join us onboard River Runner IV for this exhilarating experience of the Goodwin Sands – a 10 mile long sandbank at the southern end of the North Sea, steeped in history. Over 2000 shipwrecks are believed to be here over the years, and the sands have been the host of cricket matches at low water as long ago as 1824! In this breath-taking experience lasting 2 hours, we’ll also see the grey seal colony which resides here. This experience is only suitable for age 5+.

Seal Spotting Experience
Visit the local seal colony with us, during this thrilling rib experience departing from Ramsgate Harbour. We’ll encounter the seals on the edge of the Pegwell Nature Reserve and other bird wildlife including Herons, Little Egrit, Kingfishers, Oyster Catchers and plenty more whilst capturing the amazing views of our local coastline during this 1 hour trip. This experience is only suitable for age 5+.

Coastal Experience
Departing from the Western Pier at Ramsgate Harbour, we’ll travel out of the Royal Harbour, and head North around the Thanet coastline, passing Ramsgate main sands, Dumpton, Broadstairs, Joss bay & North Foreland Lighthouse. See a variety of boats including lifeboats, pilot boats, fishing boats and cargo ships as well as the Thanet Offshore Windfarm from a distance. The trip lasts approx. 1 hour. This experience is only suitable for age 5+.
